A MODERN SOLUTION FOR SANITARY DISTRIBUTION

TIEMME invests resources on a daily basis in Research and Development to offer customers new products/systems that simplify installation operations and ensure greater comfort and well-being.

To that end, we are pleased to introduce a new and modern system for a sanitary sewer based on the new double press "U" shaped fitting.

This new system prevents the formation of bacteria (in particular Legionella) in the pipes, preserving them and keeping them clean and healthy.

 

The Legionella bacteria, discovered in the United States in 1976 following an epidemic that caused the death of over 30 people, proliferate in stagnant water with a temperature between about 20 and 50 °C.

These are conditions of a sanitary systems with poor water circulation. It is therefore necessary a correct design and construction of the system to avoid dangerous stagnation of hot water. Legionella is contracted by inhalation of contaminated water particles dispersed in the environment, through a principle similar to aerosol.

 

The new press fittings Art. 1676USM / 1654U have been designed to help installers in the making of state-of-the-art sanitary systems. Their special "U" shape ensures a continuous flow inside the sanitary system, avoiding stagnation phenomena, ideal habitat for the proliferation of the Legionella Pneumophila bacteria.

On top of that, due to their meticulous design, an excellent flow rates is ensured, with minimum pressure drops.

The fitting is available in the flanged version with female connection (1676USM) or in the version with male connection (1654U) specific for the built-in shower mixer.

Both are also available in the tin plated version (1676USMSN / 1654USN) to offer an attractive yet corrosion-resistant aesthetic.
